Instructions for using the DARK AGES I: THE CONTINENTS source code.

All code is Copyrighted by Michael Hoopmann, you are not allowed to distribute any altered version or compiled version of this code. You are free to do whatever you want to it so long as it never leaves your computer. Goof around, give yourself super stats, replace the word THE with obscenities in all the text, whatever floats your boat. :)

To use the code, install it into your DARK AGES I: THE CONTINENTS directory. Load QB. If you are using QB 4.5 you must load with the /l flag since I use CALL ABSOLUTE in the game. Load up DARKAGES.BAS or NOSOUND.BAS. The .MAK files will automatically include the necessary libraries. Some code is commented, most isn't, so my apologies if it is hard to read. The game will not run inside QB, it must be compiled (requires QB 4.5 or greater).

I already realize that the code is sloppy and there are zillions of things I can do to make the game better and faster. I do not care to do them. The game has been successful as it is. Don't bother to tell me all about the alterations I should make, I'm not going to make them.

In any case, have fun with the code. Sorry it took so long to release, I intended to do it a year earlier.
